This hand stitched 48 page medium sized journal/sketchbook is made with cedar covers. Inside is lined paper, so it's ideal for notetaking on nature walks or whatever you want! An image of Gull Lake (Minnesota) has been hand burned onto the cover. No stain here! Lacquer finish. Each journal is unique based on the natural grain of the wood and the burnings. The coptic stitch binding technique allows the book to open flat.
The wood we use is cut locally and sustainably by us using our portable sawmill.
Measurements: 5.5” x 4.25” x .875” (covers)
A NOTE ABOUT CEDAR - Even though the wood is sealed, cedar tends to fade with age into a beautiful strawberry brown.
